Picklists

Definition

The Picklist is a list of items generated to indicate items that are to be picked from shelves/bin to fulfill sale orders.

A Picklist can be created for a single fulfillment or a list of fulfillments.

A Picklist can only be created for a facility that has enforce picklist enabled in the facility settings.

Statuses of a Picklist

Each Picklist will have a list of fulfillments of status fulfilled. Each fulfillment will have a packing list.

The State of each Picklist is:

  • Open – Picklist is created, Picking process to be initiated. You can add or remove fulfillments from a Picklist at this stage.
  • In-Progress: Individual items can be in-progress, picked or missing. Action on each item – mark as picked. When all items are picked,  the picklist is marked as picked.
  • Complete: All items have been picked.
  • Void – only an open picklist can be voided(cancelled).

The States of each fulfillment in a Picklist is:

  • Fulfilled – when picklist is open
  • Picking – when picklist is in progress
  • Picked – (when all items of fulfillment in a picklist are scanned – and when the picklist completes.

Packing Slip

A packing slip contains the list of items that need to be packed for each fulfillment. Every fulfillment will have its own packing slip.

Creating and processing a Picklist

Picklist for facility without Bins
Navigate to Main Menu >> Sale Orders >> View Orders >> Select Order >> Fulfillment >> Create Picklist.

You can add this fulfillment to an existing Picklist or create a new one.

Creating a new picklist will create it in an open state.

To start the process of picking navigate to Main Menu >> Inventory >> Picklists >> Select Picklist >> Start (After Assigning user).

Select the SKU and the quantity picked, enter the tote number and mark as picked.

After all the items are picked, you can finish and close the picklist.
Picklist for a facility with Bins
Navigate to Main Menu >> Sale Orders >> View Orders >> Select Order >> Fulfillment >> Create Picklist.

You can add this fulfillment to an existing Picklist or create a new one.

Creating a new picklist will create it in an open state.

To start the process of picking navigate to Main Menu >> Inventory >> Picklists >> Select Picklist >> Start (After Assigning user).

Select the SKU and the quantity picked, enter the tote number, bin confirmation and mark as picked.

After all the items are picked, you can finish and close the picklist.
Picklist for SKUs which have batches.
Navigate to Main Menu >> Sale Orders >> View Orders >> Select Order >> Fulfillment >> Create Picklist.

You can add this fulfillment to an existing Picklist or create a new one.

Creating a new picklist will create it in an open state.

To start the process of picking navigate to Main Menu >> Inventory >> Picklists >> Select Picklist >> Start (After Assigning user).

Select the SKU and the quantity picked, enter the tote number, batch number, bin confirmation and mark as picked.

After all the items are picked, you can finish and close the picklist.
